I’m Aireen Rivera, an educator, writer, and breast cancer survivor. For over 30 years, I’ve dedicated my life to educating and empowering students across the globe, from the Philippines to the United States, and in countries like China, Tajikistan, Thailand, and Myanmar.But beyond being a teacher, I’m also a survivor. I fought and triumphed over Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, and my journey is chronicled in my book, The Days I Lived Twice. This is more than a personal account—it’s a beacon of hope, strength, and resilience for anyone facing life’s hardest battles.

About Aireen Rivera
As a New Jersey ESL-certified teacher, I’ve spent decades fostering education in private and public schools, and in international environments. My career includes teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and English as a Second Language (ESL), guiding students through international exam preparation for tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, and SAT.
I am a licensed educator in both the Philippines and the United States, and while I’ve received Montessori training, I have had the privilege of teaching in Montessori environments as well. My commitment to my students extends beyond the classroom—I’ve had the honor of guest speaking on leadership, life skills, journalism, and Montessori education at various events and conferences.
My true passion is in connecting with people across the globe, teaching, and sharing the power of education, especially in the most challenging times.
